Get rid of the "good ole boys club".
We all work together knowing that its our butts on the line so everyone is watching out for each other since upper management wont as they are more concerned about their own image and bonus.
Too many politics and its not what you know but how you present it. talent is a 3rd rate compared to other companies. To many upper management looking for whom to blame when something goes wrong.
Had the HR manager ask me why I would be a better candidate for the position over a younger person.... He is gone now but that tells the level of professionalism and education that is at this company.
Too many people receiving favorites from others. The Kinston factory is a good example. The plant manager allows those around her to benefit instead of promoting people that have the talent, she promotes those that she likes. Most of those that work for her are her neighbors and friends.
