I really enjoy working at Emser but it is not for everyone. There is a significant lack of structure that some people absolutely thrive in and others drown in. If you are not a "figure it out and find a way to get it done" type person, Emser is going to be a very tough place for you.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team enjoys being around each other and has fun working with each other at work.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay at Emser is at or slightly above market value but we also don't have a 401k match which is disappointing and our healthcare coverage is below average (although this year is much better than last).
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
In our branch we enjoy being around each other and working as a team so it's fun to see everything come together. Our customers in our market can see we work hard to get them what they need.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that I have a direct line to anyone at the company to help when we need it. Other places it's corporate ladder hell but at Emser I can pretty much call whoever I need to for help.
What makes you most happy at work?
The fast paced changes in the day to day job keep me engaged. I get very bored with the same thing over and over again but at Emser it can be quite hectic which for me is a good thing to keep me going.
