What i like best is i feel like dave and michelle genuinley care about the people they work with. Bo matter the question they do their best to get me the help or answers i need. They do an amazing job at making me feel like its more than a job its a family.

I like that I have a direct line to anyone at the company to help when we need it. Other places it's corporate ladder hell but at Emser I can pretty much call whoever I need to for help.

The pay at Emser is at or slightly above market value but we also don't have a 401k match which is disappointing and our healthcare coverage is below average (although this year is much better than last).

Less commission and a higher salary. I started at a challenging time, and what I signed up for has not panned out, because the housing market completely collapsed

A more competitive base salary with better benefits would help. I don't feel undervalued, but I do feel overrides and overtime or relied too heavily on to achieve competitive compensation levels at the branch level.

while upper mgt will listen, their the lack of action from listening is disappointing. Their can not be a one sized fits all approach when servicing 4 differnet segements that opperate differently. Higher base pay and 401K match

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Direct boss is awesome but limited due to branch being understaffed. Opps is zero help. Warehouse is wonderful. Don't have a CSR but job would be alot better if branch was properly staffed.

The partners treat every employee with respect regardless of the title. Very family-oriented company that makes you feel like you are an asset to the organization.

The fast paced changes in the day to day job keep me engaged. I get very bored with the same thing over and over again but at Emser it can be quite hectic which for me is a good thing to keep me going.

Listen to your employees as they are the ones in the trenches that bring you back market research to better make decisions. Instead, decisions are made from a chair that don't benefit the field.
