They're all doing their best with what they have, and work even longer hours at times and have to balance so much but remain caring, open and friendly to their team. They follow the book to a T though and cannot help you if the company forbids it (like reducing hours to less than 24 a week..)

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Logic and learning what leadership really means. Costco "leadership" are essentially nepotist incompetent fools who are constantly carried by their more capable employees.

The main workforce tend to be the most intelligent and capable employees but most will stay away from leadership positions or not make it due to friction with poor leadership above. The dumb promote the dumber to outshine competition and keep rising up the ranks.

My coworkers are amazing. Most of my coworkers have more experience and knowledge in their pinkies than most of the Supervisors or Management. If anything I think new-hires should be rated by their peers to ensure more quality coworkers going foward.

Costco lets its members walk all over their employees. The company needs to take a firmer stance towards members. The membership is a privilege and if people can't act civil they should be kicked out. If the bad apples are kicked out it makes sure the good ones will keep shopping and enjoy it more.

There is no opportunity for older employees especially women are discriminated against while younger employees with limited time at Costco are given opportunities
