Respect, Communication, and professionalism toward co-workers. They will run away the workers that actually care, and want to try to stay.

Communicate. Allow enough hours per department to do the job. Stop pulling GM employees for cashier's, which I'm sure doesn't show under the "actual" hours required to get shoppers out

Involvement with the receiving department. There is no leadership. Management is to busy to involve itself in the daily minute to minute operations. Leaving the employees alone and no one to delegate. To much time is lost with lack of leadership. With no team leader and no one compensated to be one.

Being paid a fair wage

There was clear favoritism and it didn't matter how hard you work, if you weren't those employees they didn't favor -- you didn't quite matter as much.

The pay is unfair for what team members are expected to do: pick up the slack of lazy management, work in unsafe conditions (no hazard pay during Covid, no cleaning or protection). We get no sick leave and barely any vacation time. Our bonuses come in the format of points, which are then taxed.

Higher wages. We should have been compensated long during 2020 due to Covid, since people continued to come in (like we were some place for them to get out of house).

My team was incredibly hard working and driven and was among the best team I had ever worked with. However once the new manager was brought in, many team members quit after being picked on by management, and unfair treatment. They went from being hard workers to very unmotivated and unhappy people.

As mentioned, it would be nice if the communication would be better and nobody was talking bad behind your back. You don't know who to trust which I felt was poor and unfournate.

My problem is with leadership. Their attitudes trickle down to other team members, which makes everyone miserable, and no effort is made to resolve disputes.

Their is a lack of positivity in my department. From the moment I start work I hear I want to go home. Things being broke is meijers way. I constantly hear I hate this place. Not knowing what to do is meijers way. There is no positivity in the receiving department.

Treating people better and not disrespecting them every 5 seconds destroying their motivation to even work.

Better Service Manager, so cashiers stay and GM workers aren't manditorially required fill in for that area. Considering our "hours" up there are not recorded for Service. So hours are understated forwgat us really neeed to run the store

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The customer experience isn't the issue here at the store it's the management and the employees. The management behaves just like employees they are just a cult and only care for themselves the management only care for the management and favorite team members the rest are just pawns.
