Meijer Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

You guys have good benefits

It is great for the company

A great job! really enjoy working for the company.

My hourly pay is high for the same job at most other companies in my city

Hourly pay is really decent

Roth 401K selection of funds.

Review from Sales Dept

The benefits are quite good.

vacation is the best part

Covers most eveything but seems expensive

We get great compisation at Meijer

Flexible insurance- anthem, start at $10/wk, lots of coverage options

Review from Customer Support Dept

Points for gift cards and bonus percentages off

Vision, dental, and health insurance

Health insurance, vacation time, Meijer discount

I feel the best part is the accumulation of paid time off and gaining of the day value during the holidays plus the holiday pay. The auxillary insurance benefits like hospital indemnity are great to have available too.

Health and educational benefits are the best

Paid holidays and sick time

The optional hybrid / remote work

Time off and insurance benefits

Our paid time off and flexible schedules

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Raises are given by hours worked not by effort exerted, so the good employees get stuck compensating for the rest.

Hours are being cut in half.

Review from Customer Success Dept

To pay the going rate of there competitors

Pay is not competitive and there should be merit based raises

We get paid nothing and the takeout rate is garbage. With living cost going up it was be nice to expect a decent raise

Too much more to put in a survey

Just let us earn raises for starters

If pay is going to be as little as it is expecataions from mangment needs to go way down

Better coaching, better view of promotions and leadership roles.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel like i get judge because of my handicapped. The point system is not fair especially for those of us who truely do get sick. Yes i know there is FMLA but sonetimes it doesnt last long enough

I believe the pay speaks for it SELF

Higher pay and more paid time off

This work can be very rigorous, and we are constantly understaffed. Some days I'll be doing the job of three people, and yet I still struggle to pay my bills sometimes.

Pay is awful. Benefits are horrid. Only people who make living wages are managers and up

I have family issues at this time that I been going through for a while now and they known about it I didn't keep it a secret just in case of family emergency I had a terrible family emergency last Thursday and they totally disregard me my mom was alone and she's a fall risk I will never forget it

Being paid a wage that's worth putting up with customer abuse would be a nice change. And extra compensation for those who obviously show capability above and beyond

They do not acknowledge your hard work

Maybe paied alittle better.Like the team leaders ,line leaders ,and store directors

I work my butt off trying to get as much done as I can before I'm pulled away, and they never recognize me for my efforts. I would feel better about my compensation if I was actually acknowledged for my efforts.

Manager is known for calling people stupid to their face. Telling them they need to find another job. What was done wrong and how what was done wasn't enough. A little respect goes along way
