The business model of Ensign is very supportive to highly respected leaders. However if there is a bad egg at a facility as far as leadership, the model as it stands my support abuse of subordinates due to lack of accountability of proper treatment of staff.
What makes you most happy at work?
Patients, coworkers support despite lack of leadership and horrible management practices.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Back in the day the leadership team was experienced and supportive. It was exciting to look forward to working with such a progressive team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Coworkers nod to management and then take care of eachother the most efficient way we can to get through our day. Lots of hugs, (not around management) but behind the scenes
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The departmental manager has very little management experience and no upper management support. This being said, the department manager listens to subordinates and gears communications at the level needed for the department as well as individual employees.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Each department is super supportive of eachother inspite of the unsupportive behavior of the management team. Employees are patient focused and work together as a team to help eachother be the best we can be toward the patients. Love one another through it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Annual review. The review should include business growth objectives and how I as an employee attribute to the growth. The goals should be measurable, achievable, communicated, throughout the year. Employees should understand their part in the success of the team includingall bullet points of caplico
