I met with Matt Johnson who no longer works for Envoy and they got back to me the same day.

Casual but nice. We are very relaxed and don't judge but wearing some nicer clothes never hurts in any interview.

The vibe is very collaborative - people often loop in their colleagues on deals or calls, and there are always people asking questions to the team on the sales floor. Most people work between 40-50 hours/week.

Growing team, approx 16 people. Very collaborative, still building out our processes. Most members of the team have their hands in at least one other project - everyone is willing to pitch in.

The head of design is very experienced (having formerly been the sole designer here) and in tune with the big picture. He knows the product really well and takes care to be involved in all design functions. He is great at helping the designers think big picture, navigate trade-offs, and think strategically about complex problem. He's great about everyone (designers and otherwise) excited about the mission and company vision, and really encourages us to "do better" and to be critical of our work. He does his best to help us do our best and he's very accessible given all of his other responsibilities. I feel really fortunate to be under this kind of leadership.

From my experience, Envoy compensates salespeople very fairly - at or above market rate.

The managers are very helpful and kind and want the best for their engineers. They do weekly meetings with the entire team and also weekly individual meetings with each member of their team.

I love my team a lot! It's so small but so supportive. The team skews towards senior experience levels. My team members are really good at taking initiative, going beyond the standard, and giving thoughtful critique and feedback. My coworkers are also open-minded about critique. The team is really communicative and I feel comfortable asking for feedback whenever, so the iterative loops are very short. The people are fun, kind, and really passionate about what they do too!
