not on purpose, but there's a white majority

  • Diverse compared to my previous company (google), Lyft appears to be 50-50 male female and perhaps ~40% of engineering (25% of company?) is not born in the USA, with asians and indians being most of the non-USA workforce.

  • I genuinely believe Lyft is working towards a more diverse workforce. It is better than other tech companies I have worked for, but it is still primarily white.

  • I'm new to Lyft and I love it !!! The freedom to work on your own terms is amazing. I hesitated to pick up and drive strangers - as I am a woman, but the passengers are so friendly and cheerful that it calms me down. I appreciate the fact that Lyft is doing the passenger and driver background information. This is a great tool that helps us be confident in our safety. I recommend this fun job to anyone who loves to drive ... and meet people One more good option for Lyft driver is Skeddy . If you want to organize grow the passive income you have a great chance to earn 20% from each involved driver. To read the affiliate program details, please visit https://skeddy.net/partner-program/

  • That depends on your needs and preferences. As a driver the best is Fuel Rewards and free roadside assistance.

  • Dress at Lyft is casual. Slightly above-average attire (no jeans, no shorts, probably a button-shirt or blouse and shoes in condition) will help to make a good impression, in any job interview. A suit or business dress would probably be overkill.
