The people and the management. People look out for each other, mostly. My team's management genuinely cares about people, including my C level leader. During company offsites and leadership meetings, one of the main topics is how to keep our people happy. The company invests in growing great people.

Get rid of toxic managers. There are not many, but the few that are there do tremendous damage.
The problem is pervasive so the management problems are baked in
Compensate long time employees with better pay rather than attracting new resources with big pay.
