The amount of work is very high that it is hard to have work-life balance. Expectations are too high but number of resources are limited. The compensation should have increased significantly in last cycle (through promotion).

Culture at Equinix again differs from team to team. Even though at a high-level Equinix might hold great values, however, it may not always be true at your team level. My team is great, I love working with them, however, i often feel there is a lack of appreciation and recognition from managers.
When you look to the market, base salary is high at most similar companies and firms. We don’t account for what employees can do but rather the beurocratic way of looking at years of experience. If we pay the top works in the top 10 % regardless of years of experience, I think it would help.
