Essilor of America is full of lively, knowledgeable, hard working people. Working remotely is great as well. However, company's customer service system seems thrown together and desperately needs a well thought out update.

How casual it was for sure.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Working remotely, it is hard to judge what is and what isn't. The only correspondence is when it is mandatory to do so.
What makes you most happy at work?
Hearing the customer leave with all of their needs met and some even exceeded. I love knowing that I helped out in a way that makes an impression.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Excellent at what they do, respectively. Working remotely, it is hard to really engage and collaborate with my team. A creative approach to remote team building would be great.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that stock options are offered. It is nice to invest in a company that is absorbing/monopolizing the entire industry.The company will match up to 4 shares after 6 months of employment.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Speaking of my direct supervisor, I couldn't ask for a more attentive, non-biased, knowledgeable, skilled, and kind person. As for the executive team, I don't hear much from them and when I do, it is scripted, controlled, and indirect. As if they are in a bubble floating around somewhere.
