They seem to be making good decisions
Employees have the ability to be open and honest and provide inputs to issues around the plant site and the majority of the issues do get resolved
I honestly don't deal with them much, so won't falsely provide information.
I don't even know who they are.
They seem to care about my safety and training
communication and honesty better visibility to what the future actually holds so we can plan accordingly!
They need to have less of a top down approach. Drop programs that are a waste of time that everyone hates ( B-safe, 5S, operational excellence belts). These are programs are designed to make upper level management look good, but are only a nuisance to the employees they directly involve.
Pay a fair market salary
We are staffed too thin. My hours were cut but I was expected to handle more work. I listed what would others would need to pick up but then I got a bad review when those items fell behind. We need access to someone with experience in rotating equipment. Engineers are all new; need senior advisors.
Do not put such an emphasis on NEW talent. Also I see our hiring process is flawed. We hire folks who are not very good workers, and pass over many smart and qualified individuals.
The 401k match program. filler word.
Flexible benefits package (employee has several coverage options)
Medical, dental and life insurance
The best part is the 401K
I find that the flexed site holidays are the best. The other benefits are reasonable and appropriate.
all the companies min this area and industry are higher paid and have better benefits we work many extra hours to cover vacancies and do feel under appreciated
I am not that I am compensated fairly for my education and experience compared to other companies
In our region, Evonik used to be the best place to work. However, their salaries/wages are starting to fall behind other companies in the area. Also, my compensation is getting held back by HR policy that you have to spend a certain amount of time in each grade. I am an eg3 performing an eg4 role.
Other US companies and even Germany provide more vacation. Starting salary is too low to get competent shift workers. Suggestions based on plant operating history are ignored. Manager micro manages and doesn't get along with his female assistants. They have all changed positions.
I have been passed over for 3 different positions for someone with less experience and education. I have seen people promoted to positions without anyone else having an opportunity to even apply .
Our team is dedicated to their jobs and seeks out the best solutions for our customers.
My team works really well with each other. Really like how we can bounce ideas off each other and don't get offended by constructive criticism.
Independent/think on the go/know procedures/know operations and equipment details/
Some care about their work and it shows.
We all get along well with each other.
equal work for equal pay
More work less talking. Helping each other out.
The culture at this plant is in such disarray there is absolutely no comradery. The management in Weston is not interested in keeping there present workforce by way of there actions.
My coworkers, and myself included, need more training in our respective fields. Training which we have been requesting for years but keep being told it won't fit the budget. Even though the training courses cost $5,000 and we have a $30m+ site surplus every year.
It is always someone else's job or responsibility. It is always about making their lives easier even at the expense of make someone else's job harder.
everyone gets along with each other for the most part
Its emphasis on safety and environmental protection.
Improving the plant safety culture
there is nothing positive about the culture at the Weston site.
My team is the most positive part of our company.
More fequent free food always brightens a day.
If I hear more corporate culture talk I will quit.
Fewer or shorter meetings/more vacation/more maintenance management staff/more accountability for production operation mistakes(those that are good are discouraged because others make no effort & there is no consequences) /team leaders need mentors or senior advisors for both plant & employee help
Increase wages enough to bring in experienced workers, or at least raise it enough to keep employees around. The turn-over rate is horrendous in my department because of low salaries and it is being ignored by management.
Company support when workers go the extra mile. For working thru Covid we got a free meal. That's it. My previous workplace was always finding ways to make us feel valued

Good coworkers. Overtime is usually optional rather than forced.
Knowing that I'm making a positive contribution the company.
Lunch and going home time
The people that I work with.
Solving complicated problems and educating others on how internal systems, both mechanical and informational, work.
honesty, equal pay for equal work, make our company more attractive to people buy giving wages more inline with other companies in the area so we are not short handed and do not need as many contractors
Increase my salary to reflect what the market is paying
Management & engineering turnover/connect them with experienced advisors they can get help from/increase performance expectations for shift techs with consequences so both production is better & engineering can count on them
the management team needs overhauled or different way of thinking about its employees
There is just a negative attitude from the older operators that is being passed on to the new hires.
