Mr. William A. Von Hoene, also known as Bill, Jr., has been the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Exelon Corporation since 2012. Mr. Von Hoene served as an Executive Vice President at Finance and Legal - Exelon Corporation at PECO Energy Company since 2009. He served as an Executive Vice President of Finance & Legal of Exelon Corp. from June 18, 2009 to 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of Exelon Corp. since January 2008 until June 18, 2009. He served as General Counsel of Exelon Corporation from February 1, 2006 to 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Exelon Corporation from February 1, 2006 to January 2008. He served as Senior Vice President of Exelon Business Services Company from 2004 to 2009. He oversees the Exelon's internal audit and controls function, previously under the finance and markets organization. Mr. Von Hoene joined Exelon in February 2002 as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, litigation and in March 2004, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and served as Acting General Counsel in January 2005. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at the new Exelon Electric & Gas Corporation, upon completion of Exelon's pending merger with Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated. He served as a Senior Partner at the Chicago law firm of Jenner & Block, where he specialized in complex civil and criminal litigation. He has been Chairman of the Board at Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited since July 28, 2016. He served as Chairperson of Jenner & Block's diversity. He served as the Vice Chairman of Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited since 2015. He serves as a Board Member of Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited. He serves as a Director at The Alliance To Save Energy. He served as President of the Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc., and General Counsel to the Leadership Council for Metropolitan Open Communities. He served as an Associate Editor of the Law Review at University of Chicago Law School. Mr. Von Hoene served as a law clerk for the Honorable Milton I. Shadur of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He serves on the Boards of directors of the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago and the Northwestern Memorial Hospital Foundation and has previously served on the boards of directors of the Chicago Legal Clinic, the Chicago Bar Foundation and the Joffrey Ballet. Mr. Von Hoene holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1980 and a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1976.
