Old school, no growth outlook, easy 8 to 5 job, all upper management are white men.

R&D has is copier of other designs Marketing has complete control of products brought to market, even the ones that DOA No real research or understanding of changing conditions

I feel that the management in Singapore is terrible. They do not motivate their employees and there is a fear based culture. Every employees is being micromanaged and no matter how well you do your work, your efforts are not appreciated. You feel that you are being treated as a student in school.

They have successfully negotiated Covid and the accompanying financial problems.

I personally believe owner needs to stop being the president/CEO. provide more transparency. Just because its a stable company it doesnt make it a good place to work.

This is a really tough question that requires some thought before I can accurately reply, but... off the cuff I'd say overly strict policies need to be revised (some are already); focus needs to be on a quality product rather than on sales. Trust in middle managers to do their jobs.
