I'm a long time contractor. I interviewed to be full-time years ago, was told I was being hired as staff, then forced into a "renewal" of an expired contract. They said they loved my work, but refused to give me a raise or even review. They offered little to zero support. Eventually they let me go.

Low after company layoffs and many other changes but now is gradually growing.

Taking the employers to watch the most recent blockbusters on AMC Imax.
Nothing very unique for SF, but the company usually sends the employees to screenings of the most recent blockbusters.

Does Wikia have any remote positions?
A lot.
Many, but for roles that won't have any career development. It's good for those who don't aspire to grow in a company and are comfortable with the same deliverables all the time.
I can't speak to any current open positions, but I can say that Wikia is a global company and they have remote employees all around the world. I worked remotely and I thought the company did a great job of ensuring remote employees were well connected and integrated into the company activities, business and culture.
What's the office vibe like at FANDOM?
Has changed a lot in the past two years, but is oftenly upbeat.
They try to make it cool, but tension inside of the company does not let it happen.

Sales breaks record after record while the other areas seem to remain at the same level

Long and in concept legit. But patronage is still seen a lot and these people who arrive quickly diminish the work of those who had been there actually making the company progress

Opinions are divided. The company has been growing in sales and market value, but proper recognition and opportunity is lacking
Lately not good things. They talk about negative reviews very well, more than once diminishing websites like this one saying that we should not pay attention to it because it does not reflect reality, still they score never grows. I have only a little over 800 characters left, so it won't be enough for what he can improve.

Right now is a mess, with all the changes going on is hard to properly define it
It shows itself as open-minded and fun, but it's neither. The fun depends on the team that you work and open-minded is just something they like to say to bring more people in.

Very great actually

This should be improved by a lot.
Very flexible, it's a nice a thing. But I wish we had more days a year.

Based on whoever is close enough to the inner circle of executives who in fact run the company and sometimes based in performance, but only if these ones are outstandingly performing.

Has been growing for some people while the others who don't work as much get all the credit for it.
There's always too much to do in very little time, but we can manage to do fine by delivering what is really important.

Once a year during performance review for regular people. More often for the few special ones in the grace of the executive team.
How do you feel about going to work at FANDOM everyday?
Not great lately.
Lately not very good. Executives tend to overpromise things just to keep as going into a path we never wanted to pursue.

Not hard at all

The ones close to the executives, regardless of merit.
The ones that have close ties to the executive team. Otherwise there's no path for succeeding regardless of how great you are.

Should be improved.
Something that needs a lot of improvement. People love to they you what else to do but magically seem to forget everything that you have done.
What's the office layout like at FANDOM?
It's a large space full of couches with areas for entertainment
That's super nice, the CEO and the interns sit in the same type of desk and have access to the same type of resources to work.
