They take attendance every day. Limited vacation, and sick days so they dont have to pay out normal PTO

Despite geographic range between multiple offices and time zones, the team communicates well and is accessible.

No micro management. Fandor is a results oriented organization. Set a goal, get it done, move to the next in an organized fashion.
The offices are open and the culture congenial and there are no departmental or geographical factions.

We have them, and they're a fun and nice night out of food and drinks. They are typically informal and casual in nature due to the small size of the company.

I like the people I work with and the challenges at hand.
What do people at Fandor think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO is very accessible and supportive of the team and the culture of the company and makes a point of getting to know everyone as best as he can. One area of improvement may be presence as he is out of the office fairly often.
How's the work life balance at Fandor?
There are rare times where long hours are needed to meet a deadline, and there is an on-call rotation for support issues during off hours. But the impact of either of these is minimal and there is a lot of understanding and leniency around personal matters.
How does Fandor make decisions around promotions?
The engineering department is relatively flat organizationally, but seniority and proven merit are considered for leadership roles.
Does Fandor have any remote positions?
Yes. Where possible, these are accommodated with office space, but some are also work-from-home positions.

The office vibe is very casual and jovial. There are departments and teams, but these lines are not delineating and even managers are fun and encouraging of a relaxed and fulfilling environment.
