Fidelity Investments Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Fidelity Cares volunteering program opportunities

Review from HR Dept

Volunteering with Fidelity Cares program

Fair to above avg salary, including benefits shares, match and profit sharing, extremely hard to match.

I think my Bonus structure

Bonus and profit-sharing are great.

Review from IT Dept

Interns can apply for fidelity fpp with a huge discount

The best part is the bonus

Decent pay and year end bonus

Paid time off and working from home

we get performance bonus every year

Retirement benefits are really good

The compensation is mostly salary with variable comp based on performance

Good mix of base and other bonus components with emphasis on longterm retirement

Profit sharing in 401k plan

The bonus always pays and is very generous plus benefits are constantly reviewed and updated based on associate needs and market evolution.

It's great and comparable in market

Learning and development, training, bonus

The best part is the yearly bonus

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Base salaries just need to be notably imcreased, as they’re not keeping up with the cost of the greater Boston region. The other forms of pay the company offers, shares, are manager discretion. So, awarding them isn’t always equita

If I could actually pay my bills and stop having to rely on a credit card to feed my wife and I, that would be great. Raise the base pay to a livable wage. Stop allowing clients dissatisfied with process, laws, rules, and/or industry regulations from tanking your quarterly bonuses in reviews.

Lack of support for promotion

Certain sites do not get equal pay and benefits (profit sharing) for the same work completed by other sites. Also, the pay discrepancy between the lower level salary grades and the upper is unethical. The vesting schedule is imbalanced.

Overall compensation is just okay. It is not what it should be, and it is lower than that at similar companies. The base compensation needs to be increased. Fidelity often loses employees because of pay, especially those in technology.

A more competitive salary, should be in line with other huge companies

New leadership on skills not womeness

More deferred comp and profit sharing

Wages equivalent to hours wirked.

For the anount of knowledge you need to gain in such a short period of time, as well as the stress of the clients your dealing with on your first, second or third call, can make you feel its too much for the compensation, especially since i have a bachelors degree in finance

I think my pay is sub par

Review from IT Dept

As a contractor I identified that I am taking a rate less than the market value and upon request to increase it to a level at my next opportunity it was not fairly compensated

I felt I was undervalued as a hard worker. I even saved a co workers life and no recognition was given

Review from Customer Support Dept

As a fund accountant you are only paid 40K. It's ridiculous. Management doesn't know what they are doing either.
