I have a plan to quit like many ex-coworkers. There is no appropriate raise at FirstService Residential. When you work for years here, you will find that you earn less than everyone in the same position in a different company.

Seeing I'm the only one on call 24/7/365. 4 hours overtime for any emergency calls would be great

They are clueless and treat employees like numbers as opposed to basing their pay on one's quality of work.

They promised me to have a good raise every year when I got hired. But it was not true. The company increased 2%, which is even less than the inflation.

Growth is available but the work is beyond shat you are paid for

Hire your own people, never involve a board, as a company you have certain goals and missions, the GM at Sun, Lakes country club does not fulfill first service, residential management leader ship. We need captains that can lead the ship not be led.

There is no effective system to measure people's performance. Every year people make some goals and try to reach the goals. But no one cares about the results. It is just a show-off.
