Five Guys Burgers & Fries Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Benifits are good and pay is fair

The free meals and the pay rate woth secret shopper

The secret shopper bonuses that come with a great shift

there was not any given to me

Review from Product Dept

The best part about my compensation package would be the bonus we get added from special customers and secret shoppers

Review from Customer Support Dept

There are always employee incentives

Review from Sales Dept

The bonus structure was very lucrative of all metrics were met.

Review from Operations Dept

Sick days, bonuses, raises and promotions offered often!

Review from Operations Dept

Review from Customer Support Dept

Review from Sales Dept

Review from Operations Dept

free burger per shift is great

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

that they do a full investigation on cypress store two or three years back from now

Review from Operations Dept

Those who go above and beyond are compensated the same as those who fail to meet expectations

Being paid more would make me feel better

I would feel better if we got vacation pay

I would like benefits please

Review from Operations Dept

Pay raises. I worked through the whole pandemic even when our sales nearly doubled. I saw the same pay I had for the past few years. Minimum wage. If my owners saw a raise in sales they should reward the team not just say good job and then nothing else

Performance bonus and equal salary

Review from Operations Dept

We are paid dust. We get treated like mules not like valued employees. Our GM and DM's are rude and act like we can't have a life outside of Five Guys. They demand open availability without taking into account we have things to do outside of work. Managers are only paid $1-2 more than employees.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They do not pay a living wage, I can barely afford rent and they say you can get a raise every three months but that's a lie.

Review from Product Dept

If they gave raises timely

Review from Sales Dept

I felt undervalued because I worked really hard all the time and did not get paid enough to do the work I was doing.

Review from Product Dept

Never was recognized for the hardwork I did and the pay could be higher

The pay is too low for a job that involves dealing with customers, hard physical labor, and sometimes dangerous conditions such as dealing with hot oil in fryers, slippery floors, and 50-lb. bags of potatoes.

Review from Operations Dept

Recognize hard work instead of insulting it

Review from Sales Dept

I worked at the busiest store in mobile and had perfect secret shoppers for 9 months straight got 7.25 then bumped to 7.30. Good enough?

Review from Sales Dept

I worked for about four straight weeks as an M.I.T being paid 10.75 with my adf safe serve certification and food handlers when the gm and i agreeded he would pay me .50 more than that due to my experience. After confronting him about it I was cursed out and striped of my M.I.T tittle.
