What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?Because of how absurd things are set up, many who work directly on line do their job, but do not care other than that. They speak on what they wish to and no matter what customers may be within the store. This is not because we don’t care about them, it’s because those above do not care of
What are some of the best things about your team?The coworkers and my managers are people, they are not to blame for the price gouging done by corporate. The people you see day to day are not be be blamed, but those who you cannot see.
What makes you most happy at work?knowing I had a customer came up to me and ask who made her Burger I said I did and she said that was the best burger she ever ate
What would you improve about your company's interview process?Have to wait up to 1-2 hours just for a manager to be ready. I.e. not proper shift management because of lack of staff.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?1: Five guys had always been paying above minimum wage by a very decent margin for many years before say 2015. Since then, they have been floating above if not directly on minimum wage in state to state and giving absolutely no chance of raises, no matter how long you worked there. Suffocation.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Being different. An emphasis is placed on how “five guys is so different” no it’s not, it is extremely similar if not the same as other conglomerates. They butter us up in the beginning and dangle the hope of raises or a future. But never allow us to rea
