Flowserve – People are friendly, onboarding was a disaster (I basically did it on my own), training (specific job responsibilities) leaves a lot to be desired, good environment, work is not too stressful, can most likely stay in this position forever, but don't see a path upward. I'm happy to be employed! | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

They care about each other being successful and want the department/team to be successful.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Define leadership (local or executive)? Local leadership is friendly and seems to care. Executive leadership seems to be disconnected in supporting corporate policies.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Experience of some employees provides needed guidance, on the other hand, many employees have been here for a long time and are in the "we've always done it that way mentality."

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay is below previous employer(s). Vacation, sick, holiday, and so forth is all divided into buckets - prefer to have a lump sum of PTO to use as desired. PTO is also below previous employer(s).

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

It's just a job, and enables me to provide for my family. Nothing exciting about it. I enjoy many of my collogues, but definitely not excited about going to work every day. I would prefer to have the option of working remotely sometimes, but do not see that this position affords it.
