It has been challenging and I understood this prior to starting. I like the ability to learn more and more everyday. If I want to go learn more hands on they will let me come in early and go to assembly and help and physically see a pump go together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is extremely professional. I haven't experienced in previous careers.
What makes you most happy at work?
Customer Service and problem solving. If a customer comes to me and we can put our heads together to solve it together to benefit both parties.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is willing to help. There isn't a training program so I have to write down all my questions and then ask others. They are always happy to help.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Flowserve helping with medical and having an HSA available. Most companies will match to a percent, but I'm not scoffing at it. The T Rowe Price match is better than an HSA match anyways.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Direct Manager is very passionate and will go to bat for his team. He will hand out any resource he needs to get things done. Although he is leaving for another opportunity with a different company
