Everyone works hard at building a community that builds each other up, but it is hard and intensive work. People get burnt out and I don't think the leadership does a good job keeping staff.

When we are not extremely busy and short staffed

Everyone is interested in ensuring the patient is safe and happy.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I shadowed extensively and was given the opportunity to really know what it is like.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They set times aside to sit down and listen to any issues you may have, although you know little will be done. It is nice to have someone listen.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We do not get raises every year. Whether it is based on performance, years of service, or just across the board raises I believe there should be some incentive to staying.
