The manager constantly overworked us, and required us to come in even while sick, constantly scheduled us outside of our available hours, and would threaten to fire us when we weren't able to show up for those shifts.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Actually ask questions that are relevant to the job.
What makes you most happy at work?
The last five minutes at the end of my shift before I go home.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There were one or two coworkers that would actually work, and help on the line, but most of the time, there were no positive experiences.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not playing favorites. There were a few workers who did absolutely nothing, and still, the people who were working would get yelled at for not picking up the slack of the people who weren't doing anything.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They need to actually hire people who want to work instead of slack off and talk all day. They need to listen when employees tell them about being harrassed by coworkers instead of telling them to just ignore it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Constantly, the managers would yell at us about how we aren't doing things right, but then they would never show us how we were supposed to do it. We would come in and cover other peoples shifts, or be called on our time off asking to come in and help. If we did, there wouldn't be a single thanks.
