How does FUJIFILM make decisions around promotions?
In my case I got promoted through my dedicated work, never had to apply to get promoted. Started as CSR, Secretary to Technical manager, supervisor to CSR, Product Management, Marketing Manager, Operations Management from National to North American.

How's the vacation policy at FUJIFILM?
It’s PTO (paid time off) according to tenure
It’s PTO (Paid Time Off) not vacations, you have to earn your PTO’s based on your tenure
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at FUJIFILM?
Very easy because I made good friends
Better because I made lots of friends
How challenged are you at FUJIFILM?
My only challenge was working with our Sales Managers and last Representative from our Tokyo headquarters who was very unethical and narcissistic
My only challenge was dealing with my superiors in the last 3 years, Japanese and Canadian bosses took down the division until it was diluted, sad because as a woman I had no power to voice my opinion.
What are the team outings like at FUJIFILM?
Was eliminated during the past 10 years before I retired, they used to be at Amusement Parks
We used to have Company Picnics and Christmas parties but during the last 5 years every division did their own within our Division.
How do you feel about going to work at FUJIFILM everyday?
Loved my job, was very enjoyable
I used to love going to work, I hired good people which made our group fun to always do better.
How can I improve my chances of being hired at FUJIFILM?
Can’t answer today, you need to trust the brand

You have to set your pace and always keep in mind Your duties as you committed on your performance assessment
I used to set my own paces, never left work with anything pending.
What's the best part of your job at FUJIFILM?
My group
I loved my job and enjoyed going to work every day. In the last 3 years, unfortunately a selection of management brought the division down.

What's the pay like for Operations roles at FUJIFILM?
After 35 years with the company I retired making 135K
In my case, i was compensated fairly my last 10 years because a new manager noticed I had been under paid. Our group was re-evaluated and all our salaries were adjusted fairly.
What's the vibe like in the Operations dept at FUJIFILM? How many hours are you working?
I worked unlimited times on and off the office
I’m retired now, I worked long hours during my 35 years, mostly because I interacted with overseas counterparts

Very level
Depends where you work, our group had a good balance we were able to cover all our work as a teammates

He is an Industry Iconic figure in Japan .
CEO are at headquarters, corporate communication to the distribution centers and departments is key to educating all employees, needs to break up the silos and communicate more effectively
What's the interview process like at FUJIFILM?
First HR, Department Management and if final candidate you will be coming back for additional interviews.
Long process, if you are called back twice consider yourself a candidate, 3 times you are one of the finalist
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at FUJIFILM?
I would eliminate offices and cubicles open floor plan and emphasize on commadery, cross training and provide daily open meeting
