Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Easy to access and a very flat organization.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
A LOT. Needs help on company morale, equal treatment and the "good ol boys club" ended in the 80's
To not play favorites amongst employees. They still have the good old boys club mentality.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Commission package pays me 35% of all mew business I bring to the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Gallagher intentionally underpays. Everything is done on the cheap. I personally know coworkers who got the same job at other brokers and nearly doubled their salary.
Payroll is market value. Medical benefits are BAD. Investments are as if I did it on my own.
Their benefits are really bad for an insurance company. Obviously they need to pick better plans and fund more into it then so much paid out by employees
What are some of the best things about your team?
Love the people I work with. Learning alot from some brilliant people.
Everyone is doing their best to help our customers and achieve goals.
Most of my peers and other colleagues are trustworthy and hardworking. Everyone is trying their best in their jobs despite the terrible leadership and pay.
Driven, hard working and they like to have fun.
With the type of job we have we all know how we feel, therefore we have each others back.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There is no structure in my field. Every unit works with their supervisor, and other units with theirs. Everyone is doing their own thing
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Love the challenge of a complex and global enterprise.
No micromanagement. The harder I work, the morw I can earn.
The most positive aspect is our coworkers. Corny but we all lift each other up when we are stressed out.
The people you work with can be hilarious and upbeat considering our jobs.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
It took a long time to get my offer but worth the wait.
They seemed very personable, friendly, people I would like to work with, unfortunately two of the interviewers transferred in a couple years and that office went to the ground. Later I came to realize that one supervisor, she was the glue to that whole office.

My co-workers are great to be around.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Nothing can be improved for me. They still have the good old boys club mentality, which I havent seen in decades. You literally work on stress adrenaline.
