Ms. Barbara W. Wall has been the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Gannett Co., Inc., since June 29, 2015. Ms. Wall served as a Vice President of TEGNA Inc. and served as its Senior Associate General Counsel since April 2009 and its Associate General Counsel until April 2009. Before joining Gannett, she practiced law with Satterlee & Stephens in New York City. She has been a Director of Newsquest Capital Plc since June 29, 2015. In 2012, she received the First Amendment Award from the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia Law School.
