Support and giving you education needed to excel in the company
They value work life balance
Understanding and compassionate to your personal needs.
Limited mindset and operating in the absence of growth
Their combined Experience at the company.
Being a leader and working as a team
Communication is key to success
Acknowledging another point of view and not thinking they know everything!!
Leadership would be a decent start.
Pay the people who do the work more. And apologize for your COVID response. When the COVID pandemic started, an executive who makes six figures a year claimed her not taking a quarterly bonus was equal to hourly employees living paycheck to paycheck being furloughed for weeks at a time.

The best part about the compensation package is that I can get paid and save money for a good reason.
It's supportive of employees and their families
The life insurance, great piece of mind
Commission potential and health care benefits
The benefits are strong & with the return of the company match, it's a GREAT place to work.
I work in a condemned building with freezing cold temperatures outside in Nashville, Tennessee and the HR department does not care anything about their employees.
Health insurance is outrageous rediculious and unaffordable
Better comp and salary package
Wages were more or less frozen in 2006.
Stop under paying our skills and responsibilities becuase where i live.
The best thing for this team is that I help other co-workers out and show some kindness and improvement for others.
Exchanges of information and ideas are a few of the best things about my team.
We are very supportive of each other
Great team and great people
Collaboration, talent, work as one
Executive empathy toward all workers
Communication is non-existent. Most of the hardest-working employees were let go.
Management needs to learn what leadership is.
How to talk To someone and when you do something wrong how you fix not blaming others
No one cares and just look to move on.
The other employees are mostly positive, especially the new ones.
Super great work-life balance at gannett
The teamwork and ability to stay as a team
They really do value diversity and inclusion.
Vision, understanding how the sum of the parts make up the whole.
Listen to the people "on the ground" and actual customers instead of basing decisions on a spreadsheet.
Improvement of company culture — currently company culture is lack of training and endless layoff
How to effectively manage Your work
Stability. Clear vision and product direction.
Management need to be better at their jobs.
I was made to feel relaxed and was shown everything I needed to see about what my job would entail
It was a quick process, I always new where I stood and what the next step was.
Well, it was 20 years ago, and a lot has changed. But it was thorough and I was asked a lot of probing questions.
The person at the time cared.
I enjoyed getting to create a mock advertisement at an actual desk, surrounded by real employees, and getting a feel for what it would be like to work there every day.
Higher up in the company needs to have compassion
be up front about the grim future ahead
Keeping busy with problems to solve, very busy.
Seeing the product come off the press
My independent contractor and subscribers
Our audience & the ability to impact their lives.
Being creative and the people I work with.
Poor communication, decline in product and service.
Our readers don't believe our paper is even based in our community any more. And the company has gone out of its way to make that impression worse.
Review from Product Dept
Lack of leadership abs lack of a plan.
They lost track of what's important. They need to look deeper into customers
price is awful, service is awful, communication is awful
The company has invested in me financially with a fair, generous salary and PTO. The company also has provided me with out-of-state training at national conferences, and it has given me the freedom to pursue investigative stories.
The diversity it offers and the variety of people I get to interact with on a daily basis
Larger raises to employees who produce excellent work. Too often those at the top of the pay scale are told the company cannot afford to give raises or more than 1-2 percent because it needs to use the raise pool to help lower-paid employees, who in my opinion do not do similar quality work.
Overall communication, not only between departments but on company goals as well
