Leadership would be a decent start.

Pay the people who do the work more. And apologize for your COVID response. When the COVID pandemic started, an executive who makes six figures a year claimed her not taking a quarterly bonus was equal to hourly employees living paycheck to paycheck being furloughed for weeks at a time.

Employees are clearly second to company success. Which never works

New leadership with respectful people

Having true, realistic ways to be profitable other than laying people off

Be more in touch. Your newsrooms are dying, especially in the small towns.

All leadership are jumping ship, that tells you something. This is the time to get out or wait for a pink slips as layoffs are every few months. Mass layoffs a couplee times a year.

Leadership is trying to feather their nests as much as possible before the day of reckoning comes.
