Gannett Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

I was made to feel relaxed and was shown everything I needed to see about what my job would entail

It was a quick process, I always new where I stood and what the next step was.

Well, it was 20 years ago, and a lot has changed. But it was thorough and I was asked a lot of probing questions.

The person at the time cared.

I enjoyed getting to create a mock advertisement at an actual desk, surrounded by real employees, and getting a feel for what it would be like to work there every day.

I liked that the interview process really highly those things they were looking for in the position I was interviewing. There was not surprises and they were open as to why there was an opening the department I was applying.

The interview process was very personable and inviting.

The interview was quick and basic, but the HR team takes a long time to process and required urging from management to accomplish the paperwork. Since I've been here this is status quo.

Easy and quick hire within a few days.

Review from Operations Dept

It was fairly comprehensive and thorough.

Review from Sales Dept

It was easy and I didn't have to role play. Apparently that has changed.
