Mr. Barry L. Engle has been Executive Vice President and President, GM International at General Motors Company since October 2017. Mr. Engle served as President of GM South America and Executive Vice President of General Motors Company since September 2015 until October 2017. In his new role at General Motors, Mr. Engle serves as a member of the GM Executive Leadership Team with responsibility for operations in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Previously, he held management positions in South America including President of Ford of Brazil and Mercosul from 2005 to 2006, and Director of Marketing, Sales and Service for Ford of Brazil from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Engle served as Chief Executive Officer at Agility Fuel Solutions LLC from August 2011 until July 2015 and served as its Director. Mr. Engle served as Chief Executive Officer at Think Holdings based in Oslo, Norway. Mr. Engle served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of New Holland Agricultural Equipment S.p.A. at CNH Global NV from 2008 to September 20, 2010. Mr. Engle served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd., a Division of Ford Motor Co. from January 1, 2008 to August 2008. Mr. Engle served as General Manager of Ford brand marketing at Ford Motor Co., from January 1, 2007 to September 8, 2008. He served as the President of Ford Motor Company Brasil Ltda., Ford Mercosul and Ford Brazil since April 2006. He was responsible for operations in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, plus the markets of Chile, Bolivia and Peru. He also has automotive retail experience as a Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep dealer in Salt Lake City from 1997 to 2000. He served as a Director of North American product strategy and planning at Ford. He served as General Manager of Worldwide Direct Market Operations and General Marketing Manager, Parts & Service Division at Ford Motor. He served as the Chairman of New Holland Agricultural Equipment at CNH Global NV since September 2008 and served as its Director. Mr. Engle holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University.
