Mr. de Nysschen served as a Member of Executive Board of Volkswagen of America, Inc. and Volkswagen Canada. He served as the President of Audi of America, LLC (Audi of America Inc.) at Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. until June 20, 2012. He served as an Executive Vice President of Audi of America, Inc. He joined Audi of America after many successful international assignments for the Audi Brand, served as the President of Audi Japan for five years. Mr. De Nysschen oversaw significant development of the Audi business, establishing an exclusive Audi dealer network and reconfiguring the product line-up. Prior to joining Audi Japan in 1999, he served various management positions in the automotive industry for a total of 15 years of automotive experience. From 1981 to 1990, he occupied positions in the Plastics/Automotive components industry and in government service. Mr. de Nysschen earned his MBA from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and a BA in commerce and economics from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
