Mr. Stefan Jacoby has been an Executive Vice President of Consolidated International Operations at General Motors Company since August 5, 2013 and serves as its President of GM International. Mr. Jacoby served as the President of GM International Operations (GMIO) and Executive Vice President at General Motors Company. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Volvo Car Corporation Ltd. from August 2010 to September 2012. He moved from Volkswagen (VW) to Volvo Cars. He served as an Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales at Volkswagen Group. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (also known as Volkswagen of America Inc), a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG from October 2007 to October 1, 2010. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of America of Volkswagen AG since January 1, 2008. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Europe B.V. (MME), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation from October 2001 to February 2004. Mr. Jacoby returned to Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg in March 2004. He served as a General Representative of Volkswagen AG for the Marketing and Sales Department since 2004. He served as the Head of U.S. Operations at Volkswagen AG since September 2007 and also served as Head of its Marketing Operations from July 2004 to September 2007. As a Member of the top management at Volkswagen AG, he was responsible for the Asia-Pacific Region from October 1997 to September 2001. From January 1995 to September 1997, he managed the General Office of the Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG. In March 1988, he moved to the Controlling and Marketing Departments of Volkswagen of America for a year and became responsible for pricing in the Commercial Vehicles business line. Following his return to Germany at the end of 1992, Mr. Jacoby assumed responsibility for Volkswagen AG exports and the control of Volkswagen sales companies in the Sales Planning Department in March 1988, he moved to the Controlling and Marketing Departments of Volkswagen of America for a year and became responsible for pricing in the Commercial Vehicles business line. He began his career in 1985 in the Industrial Sales Controlling Department at Volkswagen. Since April 1990, he served as the Head of Controlling at Volkswagen Audi Nippon KK, Japan, helping to set up the new sales company. He has been a Director of GM Korea Company since February 14, 2014. He served as a Director of Volvo Car Corporation since August 2010. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Volkswagen Financial Services AG and Volkswagen Bank Gmbh. He served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at LeasePlan Corporation N.V. Mr. Jacoby studied at the University of Cologne from 1980 to 1985, graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration.
