Mr. Thomas S. Timko, also known as Tom, has been Vice President of Global Business Services at General Motors Company since July 1, 2017. Mr. Timko served as Chief Accounting Officer, Member of Strategy Board and Corporate Controller at Steering Solutions Services Corporation. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller and Corporate Vice President of Applied Materials Inc. from March 22, 2010 to March 8, 2013. Mr. Timko served as the Chief Accounting Officer of DPH Holdings Corp. since August 15, 2006 and also served as its Controller since June 2006. He also served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Delphi Steering Systems, a subsidiary of Delphi Corp. He served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller at Delphi Automotive from 2006 to 2010. He served as Assistant Controller at Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG), from December 2004 to 2006. At IPG, he was a key member of the team that successfully completed the financial restatement for the periods 1999 to 2004. His primary role during the restatement was that of co-project leader and was the overall accounting subject matter expert and was also responsible for financial reporting and policies and procedures. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Timko was with Dover Corporation, where he served as Assistant Controller and was responsible for consolidations, financial reporting, policies and procedures, corporate accounting and internal audit. He was also responsible for coordinating and managing the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance effort and provided support for other corporate departments such as Tax, Risk Management/Insurance, Legal and Treasury. Mr. Timko began his career in 1991 with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and worked in a number of senior accounting roles. He served as Member of Strategy Board at Delphi Steering Systems and Delphi Corp. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Certified Public Accountant. In 1991, Mr. Timko graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
