Mr. Timothy J. Mahoney, also known as Tim, has been Chief Marketing Officer of Global Chevrolet and Marketing Operations Leader at General Motors Company since April 2013. He serves as the Chief Product & Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President at Volkswagen of America, Inc. Mr. Mahoney served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Subaru of America, Inc. from May 2006 to September 2011. Mr. Mahoney served as Head of Sales & Marketing of Subaru of America, Inc. Previously, Mr. Mahoney served as Vice President of Marketing for Porsche Cars North America, Inc. and as General Manager of marketing from 1999 to 2006. Prior to joining Porsche, he served as the Director of Marketing for Subaru of America, Inc. Mr. Mahoney joined Subaru as a Marketing Research Analyst in 1984 and was promoted through Subaru holding a variety of management roles in areas including marketing, advertising, merchandising, market research and strategy, as well as product planning. From 1984 to 1999, he served in a variety of increasingly responsible marketing positions at Subaru of America, as well. Prior to Subaru, he served for Sara Lee as a sales and marketing representative. He serves as a Director of Greensgrow Farm Incorporated. Mr. Mahoney received a Bachelor's degree in international studies and foreign languages from Newberry College and University of Vienna in Austria. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Drexel University.
