Geotab focuses on environmental responsibility through both internal and external efforts. As a technology leader, Geotab is committed to helping preserve the earth’s natural resources through continuous innovation and the efficient use of materials in our daily operations. Geotab’s telematics solutions assist businesses in minimizing their environmental footprint by helping them reduce fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions by providing data-driven insights to help minimize idling time, optimize routes, manage vehicle maintenance and more.
Geotab created an employee group called the GO Green team that helps support all internal green initiatives at Geotab. They focus on creating educational activities, sharing resources and spreading sustainable awareness to all Geotab employees on a monthly basis.
Geotab prioritizes the responsible e-waste disposal of expired GO devices, Geotab’s telematics product. Geotab’s Las Vegas office partners with the Blind Centre of Nevada, an EPA-approved, R2/RIOS-certified recycling center. The Center provides free electronic asset removal for GO devices and accessories, reducing additional landfill. Geotab also partners with the Blind Centre of Nevada and a company called eCycle to properly dispose of the company’s electronic recycling.
Geotab's HQ office in Oakville, Ontario partners with Terracycle to properly recycle food wrappers to prevent them from being thrown in landfills.
