My team is composed of Gen X and Millennial individuals who work together well despite different backgrounds and opinions. My co-workers like working together and learning from each other's differences. I feel my team is unique in this willingness to embrace others.
My manager is very knowledgeable and professional, and they work to insulate their employees from the tempers and blame-game played by the Jr. and Sr. VPs in the division. The Sr. VP is purely profit-driven and prefers a competitive corporate environment to a collaborative one.
I enjoy my work and I like my coworkers. I don't like my divisional leadership's constant need to blame someone for every bad decision; sometimes the landscape shifts under our feet without warning and what was a great idea 5 minutes ago is now an expensive blunder.
I got to meet and be interviewed by all my coworkers. I appreciated having an opportunity to meet them and evaluate them. This gave me an opportunity to consider whether or not I wanted to accept a job offer, knowing the people I would be working with.
