The amount of diversity on the team
the new challenges i get to face
willingness to help, train and communicate
Accessibility and willingness to discuss the current and future state
having a known path forward and more communication about my career progress
The impact I am making to move us toward our future state
My direct team is amazing and supportive, my indirect team in the same department needs more training.
The support is always there and my manager and other managers don't hesitate to voice their appreciation
Willingness to partner and work as an actual team, great support system when short handed, great knowledge base
The variety of tasks that I'll be involved in, it's never a boring day and sometimes I get to learn something new.
They consider all best interest of all employees, there is no separation between white and blue collar when making decisions that really impact everyone
Each day is different and challenges me in a new way, I get exercise different skills daily and make an impact on the future of the company.
The company looks for unique ways to show their appreciation and managers aren't afraid to tell you on the spot that you're doing a good job and appreciated.
The environment is welcoming and promotes inclusiveness, new associates never get the chance to feel isolated because they are always involved in everything than can be from the beginning.
The market is highly competitive right now, i could make more by leaving the company, but I feel a sense of loyalty and see the greater goals and want to be a part of that.
Their accessibility, the executives aren't the typical type who are too important to talk to an entry level or core employee. They are clearly busy but will take the time to answer questions or offer a congratulations or job well done.
The diversity! My coworkers come from different backgrounds and different industries to bring a unique approach and outside the box mindset to the department. My immediate peer group has no ego and function together as one cohesive unit to support each other when necessary.
I feel that some positions started off underpaid and we are now struggling to close the gap. If I didn't love my job I could easily go to another company and get paid 20k-30k more. It's not always about compensation...but it certainly helps.
