In the first few years, I was excited to grow with the company. The last few years, I get closer to looking for a new career outside of Global Industrial. I don't feel valued, which is a common thing I hear in the office.
Listen to feedback. Set realistic goals/expectations.
Being able to work from home.
Accessibility & open to suggestions.
The willingness to make changes
Either helping a customer (or coworker), or fixing an issue
I can ask for help without hesitation. There is a wide variety of knowledge, which can be passed on to others.
Everyone is willing to stop what they are doing and help you. People are genuinely interested in each other, and want to see each other succeed.
Lack of perks. I do not feel like I am getting much for the amount I am paying for healthcare. Raises have been minimal, even after promotions. Better coverage, better pay.
Previous years, received larger raise/bonus. This past Review Cycle, Raise/Bonus was well below inflation rate, despite receiving good/great performance evaluation. There was no explanation as to why it was lower this year. Seems like only the top executives are rewarded.
Seems like more and more executives are hired, but there is a larger need for entry & mid-level employees. The employees we do have seem to be leaving the company at a higher rate lately. Nothing seems to be done to retain employees.
