Executive Bio
Karen Young serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Globalscape. She oversees all aspects of the company’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting to Globalscape’s board and the public. Young brings two decades of financial management experience with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity.
Young joined Globalscape in 2015 as Controller. Prior to joining Globalscape, Young ran a CPA practice in which she provided accounting and managerial consulting services to businesses. She also served as the Controller of PIC Business Systems, Inc., a provider of web-based integrated Enterprise Resource Planning solutions. At PIC Business Systems, Young prepared the company’s financial statements and was responsible for oversight of the company’s accounting department and other administrative functions. Young began her career at Valero Energy Corporation.
