Andrew Steuerman — Senior MD, Head of Middle Market Lending and Head of Late Stage Lending at Golub Capital

Mr. Andrew H. Steuerman, also known as Andy, is the Senior Managing Director, Head of Middle Market Lending and Head of Late Stage Lending at Golub Capital LLC. He joined the firm in 2004. Mr. Steuerman heads Golub Capital's middle market capital's direct lending group, overseeing origination, deal execution and capital markets. He makes new investments for the firm and participates in portfolio management. Previously, Mr. Steuerman was a Managing Director at Albion Alliance from April 1998 to January 2004, where he originated, executed and supervised subordinated debt and equity investments for two private partnerships. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Bankers Trust Alex Brown from 1997 to 1998 and an Investment Manager at the New York Life Insurance Company from 1989 to 1997 in the Private Equity and Mezzanine Group and was also a Senior Member of the Private Equity Group managing leveraged senior loans, mezzanine investments, private equity securities and limited partnership assets. Mr. Steuerman holds an M.B.A. in Finance from St. John's University in 1990-1993 and a B.B.A. in Finance from Lubin School of Business, Pace University in 1985-1989.
