Jonathan D. Simmons — Director of Corporate Strategy at Golub Capital

Mr. Jonathan D. Simmons, also known as Jon, has been Director of Corporate Strategy at Golub Capital Investment Corp since February 2016. Mr. Simmons is a Director at Golub Capital LLC. Mr. Simmons has been Director of Corporate Strategy of Golub Capital BDC Inc. since February 2016. Mr. Simmons has been Director of Corporate Strategy of Golub Capital BDC 3, Inc since August 2017. He serves as Director of Corporate Strategy for GBDC 3. Mr. Simmons is responsible for developing and executing strategic projects across the firm. Previously, Mr. Simmons was a member of the Middle Market Lending team, where he underwrote, executed and monitored investments for the firm. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Simmons was a Senior Associate at Churchill Financial where he executed senior and junior debt investments as well as equity co-investments in middle-market companies and managed the workout of distressed investments. Prior to Churchill Financial, he was an investment banking Associate at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. where he originated, structured and executed senior and subordinated debt, hybrid and preferred equity transactions for specialty finance and banking institutions. Mr. Simmons graduated magna cum laude from with a BA in Mathematics and Economics.
