Every single day my decision to join this company is validated. Love the mission, love my boss, love my co-workers. GRAIL is where i want to finish my career :-)
I'm reminded every single day what a great decision I made coming to work for GRAIL.
My take home pay is excellent
Extremely collaborative, humorous, hard working, talented
Transparent, no micro-managing, supportive, talented, always make me feel valued
Transparent, mission driven, treat us as valuable team members, no micro-managing
Flex-time, closed two weeks per year, medical/dental, medical benefits, long term incentive grant
Collaborative all day long, humorous, mission-driven (we are all in this together to save lives), most talented team I've ever worked with
I can see the impact of the work I do. I know I make a difference in making a company stronger whose mission is to save lives. It doesn't get much better than that.
People are truly mission driven which shows itself in many ways. Everyone is collaborative instead of competitive, different viewpoints are welcomed, and we have hired a new Diversity Director and had our first DEI week. That was cool :-)
Knowing I work for a company that is truly making a difference in people's lives. Detecting cancer early is so important and I'm proud I play a part in it. I love my co-workers and adore my boss who is just the greatest boss EVER!
Everyone is focused on the mission of the company which leads to a lot of collaboration rather than competition. I also like that people are treated as professionals and trusted to do their jobs without a lot of micro-management. Being a remote worker, I truly appreciate that trust.
1. Crazy talented 2. Collaborative 3. Take their work seriously but not themselves (great senses of humor) 4. Are passionate about the early detection of cancer and it drives their success every single day. 5. It's diverse. Can't speak to other areas of the company but my team has great diversity.
We all share a great mission. Diversity of all kinds is welcomed. We are given goals and left to meet them. If we need assistance, management is there to help but we aren't micro-managed. In my area, everyone roots each other on and are very collaborative, sharing tips for success. Flex time off.
Paid well and enjoy flex time for vacation. You basically run your area of responsibility like your own business. Meet your goals and take time off when you need it. It all comes back to not being micro-managed. At GRAIL we take our work seriously and are treated like the professionals that we are.
I like a couple of things in particular about the leadership team. One is that they appear to have a clear vision. I've worked in start-ups before that changed directions often as they navigated their way into a new market. I haven't seen that here. Second is no micromanaging. I LOVE that & GRAIL!
No "gotcha" questions or cliched "tell me about a failure" questions. It was a give and take conversation. They had questions they needed answered to determine if I was a fit for the company but they also spent time answering mine. The process was also very prompt. I had an offer in about a week.
Knowing what I do is literally making a positive difference in people's lives. Our product is the first of its kind to detect over 50 types of cancer with just a blood draw. How can you not be happy being part of that? I also love that my boss knows how crazy busy I am and leaves me to get it done.
