Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Great mission, great technology, but an upper management team that has no idea what it's doing. The most common feeling in Grail is one of "no matter what I do, it's not enough". That feeling comes from the ELT setting a completely unrealistic goal for 2022, and then blaming the entire company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing a customer "get" the technology and its potential

Open communication, passion for transformational technology, and committed to their employees

Extra "bonuses" appear at random times, can't help but love that.

Patience, experience and commitment to the cause of early cancer detection

customer interactions. They try to find fault with our technology, and I love seeing their faces when they realize how much impact Galleri will have. It's a fait accompli
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Diversity, and one helluva mission. Some companies say they are going to change the world, but they impact only a small % of the world. Cancer impacts EVERYONE, and Grail is committed to changing that.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Quit "appointing" your favorites to promotions/jobs without posting the job and looking at other candidates. The same few "golden children" of the ELT continue to monopolize the best promotions and positions, usually without any experience (the ELT promotes people to leadership without people exp).
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The technology is simply breathtaking. But the team Grail has built is just as impressive. I've never worked with some many different people who share a common vision without having to have a written vision statement or having it forced upon you. Grail's vision bubbled up from the technology.
