What do you like best about the leadership team?
They give direction and support, but don't micromanage. They expect you to do your job well and reward you when you do.
I truly don't know what I like about them. Nothing really stands out
Open communicators. They know the employees
My manager is great and cares about his employees. The rest do not!
We don't have a very big group
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything...there terrible..they don't keep things peivate..they abuse employees esp long term employees
basic communication and less micromanagement with more focus on the future and less on fire fighting.
Attendance policies needs to be thrown out and replaced with on that goes based on your vacation time
Not to have favourable people every one is equal,its like a private club that you must join.
They need a better mixture of old and new. It all stems from not paying attention to the details.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The bonus opportunity is based on on personal performance but also overall business performance.
Benefits and salary are good.
Bonus that is included for working
Base pay is competitve , bonus pay could be better.
Insurance package is better than it was
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Management change is needed very much
401K matching and healthcare options are left lacking but that is a symptom of a more over encompassing issue in the U.S.A
I never get to see my family sure I might get paid good but who cares. My children are growing up without me
I do maintenance, im the rotary die tech, and i take care of premakeready. Before i took on the extra responsibilities that was 3 different jobs. Now I do them all and haven't even been offered a raise.
I have over 30 years in various paper industries and I don't the plant manager see me for what I can do and what I know in regards to the folding carton industry.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Not much at all...there terrible
I work with some extremely hard working and knowledgeable people that are willing and happy to teach me new things.
Dont have alot of team activies
Just good people to be around
We have a good maintenance crew
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Use webex messaging instead of emails.
Training. No one knows how to do their job.
Work as company team not for the club they're in
Teamwork, work ethics,respect for one another
Reliability and understanding. Very poor human resource and management skills

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There are some more recent changes being made to try and improve the culture and environment at my worksite
Job security. It is nearly impossible to get fired.
Not one thing, toxic work environment
Company is employee oriented. I look forward to working every day.

Supervision needs to change because they're the one the is lying and creating haterade in the work place. Where i work there is a club and the one in the club gets look after.
Stop all the initiatives and latest greatest gimmick and although workers to do their job and reward them for it. Management can't retain good leaders because they won't let them lead.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Clear questions , and that my information was reviewed prior to interview
I would like to have a interview for the converting mangers position as I have applied 3 times since it has been posted on the GPI website

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Everything..they only hire philipino people
Shorten the time in between
Questions that are applicable to the position you are applying to. Too many rounds and too long from hired to start date.

Punching out to go home and get off my feet
