Dagmara Owczarska — Vice President, Global SSC Operations at Groupon
Executive Bio
Dagmara took her first professional steps in the marketing departments of the global FMCG companies (Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever, Tchibo) in early 2000s and after graduation she got involved in building an e-commerce start-up in the Silicon Valley. When returned to Poland – Dagmara gained experience in operations. Initially, she managed the sales support teams at Netia (a telecom company) and in 2012 joined Groupon, where she was running the entire operational part of the business (customer service, merchant services and editorial) successfully optimizing departments work and increasing their efficiency. In 2014 Dagmara started building and then managing Groupon Shared Services Poland sites located in Warsaw and Katowice, extending her scope by another 2 locations in India in early 2018 (Chennai and Bangalore). In 2019 she took over responsibility of 5 Groupon’s Shared Service Centers (Poland, India and Spain) and she’s now Vice President of Global Shared Services Operations.
