My compensation plan has changed four times this year so far. I now make 1/2 of what i made for the same number of sales 4 months ago.
They arbitrarily close and open accounts then coincidentally forget to add any trial or promotional service to the reopened account- seems fishy.

Hit and miss. There are a lot of passionate people on the Marketing team, but the CMO has created a very stressful work environment that is difficult for directors and managers to properly handle.

Not secure at all. The culture is very political and up or out mentality with regular firings or behind the scenes using PIPs to push even good business operators out.
What's the Marketing team like at Grubhub?
There are a lot of silos, with some sub teams working 60+ a week and other teams working an easy 40. There’s a lot of turnover.

It is obvious when numbers aren't being hit. The c-level team gets anxious and puts that on employees.

A very informal annual review and compensation process happens each year but there are no standard raises or comp increases.

GrubHub is large enough that there will always be people quitting.

Not often, people tend to pickup or order delivery and eat together.

No, but a number of people seem to. After 5pm there are people hanging out and drinking especially on Friday

Recognize acheivement and reward fairly. Constraining promotions and salary increases to yearly is archaic and misguided.

I have been with the company over 5 years. You are contstantly told to push and work harder, but compensation does not reflect work done.

The people I work with are amazing. Grubhub has been able to assemble a great team, though it is a rotating door. People come and go often.
