"Work" never feels like the focus. Instead I'm prioritizing process or formalities or following a script or doing something bureacratic. I don't feel productive and I don't think anyone I work for feels like that's important.

Get rid of the command and control management style pretty much everywhere in the company. Also need to replace some of our sr. management who create that culture by their actions.

I believe there are individuals in higher management roles in operations that are making the working environment very toxic. Engineers should not be in a position where they are scared to reach out to other teams for fear of being shouted at on zoom calls by directors.

Ensure managers understand work/life balance is important. Don't use the need to get a project over the line to overwork people. You are loosing quality, collegiality,. The company is changing in the wrong way with team members including managers supporting one another.

Leadership that care about and listen to their employees, and equally as important care about and listen to their clients. Most of Guidewire is good at this (the legacy parts of the business) - but Guidewire analytics is extremely poor.

I think encouraging activities between people of common/similar interest is the easiest way to foster relationship. Things like hackatons or friendly competitions that encourage teamwork and at the same time we can learn from each other is great.
