How employees describe working at Harris Computer
I have been happy with with employer
Very learning oriented group that supports each other and their teams
Lacks management structure. No transparency within the BUs, one hand doesn't talk to the other. VPs prefer to isolate and control employees rather than involve them in the planning. Too many tasks, no time or resources to get things done. Projects often start and never finish or get deployed. BAD
Customer Service is very good.
Good benefits, good company culture, flexible hours, pay below market average, very limited investments in the growth of individual BU's (all about shareholder profit), managed by accountants rather than risk takers

How does Harris Computer handle HR issues?

You cannot defend yourself if you get a warning, it stays on your file and therefore never leaves for all of Harris to see. HR is a very small group of ppl, not able to completely do the job of a true Human Resources dept.
